WHAT IS THE HEBREW ULPAN?

Ulpan is a 6 month online Hebrew speaking course designed to get you speaking Hebrew as fast as light: ULPAN OR 

The program that we use is called ULPAN OR meaning learning to speak at the speed of light.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

If you are planning on making Aliyah and you would like to brush up on your Hebrew speaking skills or if you would like to take your first steps to learn Hebrew, then this course is for you.

WHICH LEVELS ARE OFFERED?

We currently have 6 classes/ levels. The number of classes are based on registrations. We will assess your level and place you in the class most suitable to your ability.

Beginners: started from the alphabet, now Novice Low end

False beginners: Could read and write before starting the course. Can hold a basic conversation in the present tense. Novice Mid end

Intermediate: This group has completed the Novice Mid course and are on Novice High. They can converse with ease in the present tense with a rich vocabulary.

Intermediate Low: This group can converse with relative ease in the present and past tense

Intermediate High: This group can converse in the present and past tense with ease.

Advanced: This group can converse with ease in all the tenses but not yet fluently.

WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD?

The classes are held on zoom.

Classes for the Beginners and Intermediate groups are held twice a week either on a Monday and Wednesday or on a Tuesday and Thursday evening.

The advanced class meets once a week on a Tuesday evening.

Classes are held from 7-8:30 pm.

The SECOND SEMESTER begins on the Monday 29 July and the semester ends in the first week of December.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE LESSONS?

All our teachers are experienced and well trained. They will guide you on your journey to learn to SPEAK Hebrew. 

You will be exposed to many interactive materials, audio clips, videos and games to help you achieve your goal.

Homework will be given from time to time to monitor your progress.

All lessons will be recorded so that if you are unable to attend, you will be able to catch up on the recording.

You will be invited to join a WhatsApp group of your class for the purpose of communicating with your teacher and each other and for the sharing of relevant content.

BEGINNERS AND INTERMEDIATE CLASSES:

FOR THE ADVANCED CLASS:

All prices INCLUDE full access to the online materials which you can access at any time and thus progress at your own pace.
